Please help me sexing these 8 week olds.

Hi all,
We got more chickens from the same breeder! 3 are red, 1 is a barred rock and 1 is Americana cross (I think). They are around 8 weeks old. The breeder picked them out for us and said they are all hens. I think there might be one or two cockerels! Would love to hear what you think! Thank you!

I would take them back to the breeder and ask for a refund or pullets in exchange

I don't see why the breeder wouldn't take them back. Ask to exchange for 8 week old pullets if you can...that is, if he/she hasn't been destroying the hens thinking they're roos!

I started to think he did it on purpose! But he said I could exchange for hens if they turned out to be Roos. I don’t get it, he’s been breeding for 10 years.

Haha! I certainly hope he knows better than that. He did say we could exchange for hens! But what are the chances?! 100% fail..

I was thinking the same...he should know better.
Time will tell if he swaps 'em out(correctly this time) or not.
