Yes, I expect most chicks to be from the JG roo, but the Faverolle does his share of ladies (mostly EEs and faverolles). My JG hens are only mated by the JG roo, so their eggs will be pure. As for the pea comb, I know many breeds can have it, but from my flock it is only the EEs and Buckeyes.
The rest of my flock are straight comb (an all pure bred...well, minus the EEs). All of ours are brown egg layers except the EEs which lay green (except one lays blue, but her egg isn't under the broody).
$100 is too much right now, but in a few months it will be a bit more reasonable. It will definitely be on my wish list until then! And I did see the calculator, and after a few hours last night, I think I understand it fairly decently (as well I as I need to figure out what the mutt chicks are mixed with anyway).
