I'm just thinking I see saddle feathers and rooster coloring in that pic on the non-barred dark bird, but if you're confident it's female, okay.

I couldn't tell if this was answered or not, but he looks like a mix between a male silkie a a female barred rock/Dominique or some other barred breed. It looks like his feet have just a bit of feathering on them and he has a small crest and beard too.... But he doesn't have the dark skin. Maybe sultan instead of silkie?
