Please help me with gender. I'm new to this!

Hello, iv looked at your pictures! Your chickens are really lovely!

How old are the chickens? Are they all the same age?

If they are all the same age id say the buff coloured one may be a cockrel as its comb is bright red and it has wattles. The white one and grey one has only a very small comb that is pale and there wattles havnt developed yet, so id say they are hens.

I hope this helps, im pretty new to keeping chickens myself so hopefully you will get some other opinions too. But thats what i think. Xx

Hey, if they are all nine weeks old id say the buff coloured one will prob be a cockrel :/

The other will be hens, the crowing could very well start anytime now. Cockrels will begin to crow at aytime from 8 weeks to 6 months.

You would usually here them make screechy noises as they first begin to crow so maybe the chicken will give you a bit of a clue as the when it will start crowing.

It may crow next week it may crow in three months!!?

Its up to you weather you try to sell on now or wait and see what happens? Xx
