So I treated Mother hen and she did lose one baby the next day (I don't know if it was from the treatment as it was squashed and it's not the first time I've had a broody accidently squash a chick).I'll let you know how it goes treated mumma hen with the rest of the flock this morninghopefully the chicks all survive.
I know some will think this is extreme but I candled the rest of her eggs and all were unfertile. We have another 14 eggs due to hatch in 3 days and they are all going under mother hen so we had to treat everyone before more chicks hatched, so yes I'm risking 6 chicks but saving 14ish (hopefully!)
