Please Help ! | My chick died but then got up again!

Hello!
Today my chick was crying out so I went to it and just before it “died” is shook it’s whole body. Then like 30 sec later it got up ran around and acted like nothing had happened. When I thought I had passed he was on his side. Does this mean anything.

Sounds like possible seizure activity. Was that the first time it happened? Did anything happen that could have scared it: loud noise, sudden movement?

It's possible that could have triggered it - chicks can scare easily and maybe this one just "overloaded" because of the stimuli. @Wyorp Rock previously posted some advice here that you may find helpful.

Is he eating, drinking, and pooping normally? Can you give him a nutritional supplement like Poultry Nutri-Drench, to rule out some kind of deficiency as the cause?

Also, could he have gotten into anything toxic?

He seems to be a little better. He eats and drinks and it’s poops are normal. I think it will be ok. Hopefully
