Please help my chick with a bad leg/foot

Hooray for perkiness! I'm keeping my prayers on!

Thank you for the prayers CC! I think she (Violet) is slowly getting better - not her leg/foot so much, and even though she is still sleeping alot, she also seems to be pecking at her food a bit more. I put the other bantam chick in the "hospital" with her because Violet was sitting at the divider and peeping and I thought she might be lonely. I watched them for a while to make sure she isn't being picked on, but everything seems okay. I do make a mess when I feed her the paste food and noticed that there was some stuck on her beak from last night. I think I got most of it off with a warm towel, but I was afraid that I would hurt her if I picked at it too much. I have to say that she seems to be taking things in stride. Thanks again for all your support!

Once they really decide they like the paste, you can make it less wet and then it makes little 'worms' when you squeeze it out of the syringe, and they'll just nip off the worms- far less messy.

I'm glad she's doing better!!

I am almost positive that she has a slipped tendon. I have been reading about them and I can feel it slip when I manipulate her leg. I think it has a bit of swelling now too.
