Please help my chick

dont mind me asking please but how do you know its a male?
The legs are VERY thick for a female, and the comb is already quite large and starting to head towards pink. In a chick that's 24 days old, that just screams male. I'd wager $100 on it.

Now, there are some breeds where both sexes will have thicker legs, like Cornish and Cornish Cross broilers, but even if this chick is one of those, the comb tips the balance to male. No female chick will have a comb that size at 24 days. It would be extremely rare. Possibly a White Leghorn would, I don't know if the females tend to pop combs early since they're so large, but then we're back to the legs, and THAT breed would not have beefy legs in a female.
