PLEASE HELP MY CHICKS ARE DYING ONE BY ONE!!

I took them out of the brooder and put them in totes with paper towels over shelf liner so they don't slip.. I think I may be losing 2 more but we'll see. I gave them water and did give them food. THe food smells fine and my little quail that are only a few days older are doing fine so I don't think its the food. Maybe it is something in the brooder.. It was made from an old dresser that was outside so maybe it has mold in it that I cant see. We'll see what the morning brings. Thank you all for your help and advice.

So sorry you're having to go through this:-( Hopefully the rest will be ok.
Do you have the packaging for the bulb you bought? If so check to see if it says "coated for safety" or anything similar.

Hello, Well our ten remaining chicks are doing fine..

Thank GOD! I m not sure what caused that but I hope I never have to experience it again. I have had a few friends say they think it may have been wry neck and/or a vitamin deficiency issue. I did speak with Mcmurray, though they couldn't help figure out what had happened, they were very generous by offering to replace all the chicks we lost.

the wonderful customer service and sincere care they expressed was both admirable and showed they are a responsible business with integrity. Thank you McMurray !
The other 10 little girls are very active, fluttering about and standing on their waterer as we speak and we should expect the replacement chicks next monday. My wonderful husband has been working like crazy on a beautiful new Brooder "Condo", lord knows the word box is an understatement ..lol

It has separate compartments for our 10 girls, the new girls and the quail .. with enough room for EVERYONE to grow
