thankfully you were right!! I found it this morning (they were running around with it again) but I couldn't last night which is what scared me, just did a sweep of their pen and didn't find anything else, THANK GOODNESS.

Glad to hear you found it. Ducks especially like shiny objects, even though they can cause series issues for them. I know you are so relieved. Lesson learned for mother in law, don't throw down bottle caps, put them in the trash.
