Hi, I am incubating 18 chicken eggs and one has pooped at wrong end. So the end without air sack. Any advice? What are its chances of survival? Thanks in advance!

Chances are good the egg will surviveWhen they pip the wrong end, though, they take a lot longer from external pip to zip, since they never got a chance to internally pip and had to both internally and externally pip at the same time. It may be 48 hours from the time of the pip before it starts to zip.
However, they usually can get themselves out fine when they pip at the wrong end, which is the good news![]()
Thank you so much! It hatched about an hour ago, thank the lord! Lol! I was so worried. Now need 12 more to hatch! Her
