we saw our silky chicken sitting in the middle of the floor of our chicken coop and thought nothing of it.we noticed this for 2 or 3 days and decided to put her in our bathroom.she had a big clump of what we thought was poop or mud stuck to her butt and she wouldnt stand up so we just put her with a towel ,food and water by her.we washed off the unknown thing on her butt and noticed she had about 7 toes on one foot.we washed off her foot and she had 5 toes again(gross right?)she ate really well, pooped good, talked alot and drinked alot of water, but WOULD NOT move.her legs were really far apart.(not like splits far but almost)the people that seen her think she was egg bound,or its time for chicken soup.but shes my favorite bird! we checked in the vent area and it is fine and normal. She never returned to herself after about a month. Then she had another clump on her butt! we washed her off and returned her to the chicken coop. every day we noticed shes moved about 4 yards. shes not well liked. we know that for a fact cause all the "cool chickens" fly over our fence everyday and rome our property for worms and bugs. But if she was picked on the other "nerdy chickens"would be the same way! what do i do about this sick chicken??????
