I use tea tree oil to deworm my chickens, goats, dogs and cats. I also use it to prevent/kill lice/mites--etc.

I hope she keeps doing well and doesn't relapse!

Hi Everyone!
It has been awhile since I gave an update on Josie! I am incredibly pleased to say that she is doing fantastic. Running with the flock- eating, drinking and I believe she laided an egg this morning - with no problems YIPPIE! Thank you all for your support. I really do think that those of us who have lived through a prolapsed recovery develop a special bond with the chicken. Our Allison is now back out in her own "special needs" coop with a sweet rooster and another hen. Never thought I'd build another coop!
