please help me! my hen pepper has had vent gleet for the past week or so, we have been giving her a probiotic and warm baths but it hasn’t seemed to help. Today when my brother and I were trying to give her a bath we noticed that her vent was prolapsed and was bleeding a littl, we continued to bathe her and she was staring to relax until my cat ran up and scared her. She went and hid under our old playground. I was able to coax her out with food but when she turned I could see her vent was prolapsed even more. I tried to pi her up but she ran into her house. Currently she is in the laying box and I can’t get her out. I will add pictures when she comes out.

p.s. Sorry about my last post I was very worried

How is your hen doing?
If you haven't done so, she needs to be separated out and you take a good look to see how much damage the prolapse has.

If no one is on when you see the post - this article will help get you started on treatment.

Thank you so much!
unfortunately I cannot separate her from the rest of the flock, But we do have anti-pecking cream will this be enough?
Do you know how I can treat the vent gleet?
