That is WAY too high for chicks to fly up to. I wouldn't allow my adult chickens to roost that high.View attachment 2816539View attachment 2816540View attachment 2816541This is my chicken pen and roostshe was trying to get back in with them so I moved them into smaller pen and I’m just gonna keep an eye on her
The pen I showed was my adult hen pen they love the high roost and won’t roost any lower, I had her and he chicks in smaller pen but she kept going into the bigger pen and roosting there so the chicks followed her in obviously they wouldn’t be able to sly up there so they just sat on the ground so I moved them into a smaller pen without the mama but she kept trying to get back in so I let her back in but she keeps trying to get back into the bigger pen with the rest of the flockThat is WAY too high for chicks to fly up to.
