Please Help! My rooster is Weak, Thin, Dark Comb, Looks soo sleepy :(

My Lavender Roo "Dezi" Started acting real sick yesterday. I didnt know if he was gonna make it, he kept his eyes closed and he couldnt stand straight. I gave him antibiotics and fed him with a spoon for a while. He began to act better, He would fall asleep and i had to wake him up and he would instantly go for the food. By the end of the afternoon he was awake, but he was slow and he was eating and drinking by himself. He slept in the brooder pool with the babies last night Today he is alert and eating well but he cant stand up long at all and has not tried to walk, he tried to get up to eat but the he is soo weak.. How can i help him more, i dont want to lose him, he is soo sweet! Ive been trying to give him as much protein as i can and he absolutly loved his vegetarian vegetable stew this morning. He seems to be better than yesterday but idk. Im scared Please help

Never just throw antibiotics at a bird. What made you think he needed them? They can cause more harm than good. He probably doesn't even have an infection. Dark comb could mean a heart or circulatory issue.

Is it hot where you are? How old is he?

He is under a year old and I read posts on here and since they are prescribed for my chickens anyway i knew they wouldnt be something that would hurt him. He is a really poofy bird and if he has a cut or wound on him that i have not found, i wanted to make sure all the bases are covered. I live in Florida and its very hot, the mosquitos are vicious and all of my birds free range. Ive added vitamins and electrolytes to their water today.

The heat does things to birds, for sure, especially roosters. They are most on alert, jumpy, don't eat or rest as much as the hens do. They often die of sudden heart attacks as well.
