PLEASE HELP! NEED ADVICE! PLEASE!

So the weak duckling isn't making any progress. He is REALLY weak. Like he is constantly sleeping and can't hold his head up very well. He can't stand well either.

Any recommendations?? Im getting worried.

Some are just small and don't make it. but some people here know what to do and maybe it's internal balenceing is off maybe you should research that. Can you send me a pic? How old is it exactly? Is it dry and fluffy? Are it's legs splayed out? Please let me know. It might be that it is tiered from either hatching, or struggling to stand. It shouldn't starve. It should be able to survive a day without food but maybe give it some sugar water on the side of it's beak like you did with the one that was external pipping. I am not sure what this is, @MGG any advice?

Sorry! We've had a busy past couple days. I was working in a coop all day yesterday and I just turned my phone on today. How is he? I would just keep him warm and let him rest. I'm so sorry your hatch has gone so poorly.

So there is a chick who is weak and having trouble walking and is almost constantly sleeping

Sorry for not responding soon! I was busy!
Ok so the weak duckling is still going, and I think he’s doing a lot better than last night. He is still weak and can’t walk really well or hold his head, but he is working at it. I’ve been giving him scrambled eggs and a honey water mix all day. He is also in a small “quarantine” brooder so he won’t get trampled. Hopefully with some more of the eggs and honey water, and time getting stronger, he’ll be ok.
As for the other ducks...
We had one hatch around 2:30 today. He is in the small brooder with the weak duckling and just getting strong until he can join the others, but he is very healthy.
The 2 that hatched yesterday are in a big brooder and are lovely and healthy.

Edit: in case I didn’t post, here is a timeline of the hatches.
Yesterday, May 3.
Duckling #3 hatches at 8:10am.
Duckling #1 hatches at 2:00pm, weak but alive. (This is the weak one).
Duckling #4 hatches at 9:00pm.

Today, May 4.
Duckling #2 hatches at 2:30pm. Very healthy.
Duckling #5 is making progress, hopefully hatching by morning.
Ducklings 3 and 4 are healthy and in big brooder-3:00pm.

Here are the two in the main brooder.

I would be cautious about using honey, I've never seen it mentioned anywhere so I don't know that it's safe. I would just mix up some sugar water. You should be able to dip his bill in the cup to get him to drink. If you have any iron-free Pedialyte you can use that too. Here's a recipe I found for a homemade electrolyte drink. It would probably help. Can you post a.oic of the weaker one? Do his legs and feet work good? Sometimes I have a couple really weak birds, I just give them some TLC and a place of their own for a bit and they usually come around. Good luck with him!

Here it is. You don't have to use the potassium chloride stuff. If you have any real poultry electrolytes that would be best though.

He’s still ok so I think the honey was ok. He is doing much better. He can eat and drink on his own, and he is strengthening his neck and legs. He is opening his eyes more and can hold is head up well for a minute or so. He acts just like the healthy ones did when it comes to walking at first. I’m leaving him overnight and just gave him some scrambled eggs mixed with warm sugar water.
