PLEASE HELP need advice!

Pediasure probably contains dairy products which aren't good for chickens since they lack enzymes to digest it. Pedialyte, however or Gatorade is a good substitute for electrolytes. She may have just not taken enough water on the hot day, especially if she is low in the pecking order. I like to place at least 3 waterers out in the shade in very hot weather, just in case of the more meek chickens not getting enough.

And fans in the chicken house. I am in SC and during the summer I put fans in the coop: I let the fans blow on one half of the coop. So if some of them don't want air blowing on them can to the other half of the coop.

I could put a fan out there its probably a good idea with the crazy heat here in the summer! I havent seen her poop at all today and honestly i cant tell ya which poops are whose in the coop and run..

Violet just went to the bathroom i took her out if box put her on cold bathroom floor after a minute of walking around she farts SO loud and diarrhea all over! Literally a big wet pile as wide around as her! Knowing shes having diarrhea should i treat her and other chickens for cocci?ive never done this can someone explain it to me possibly? I know i may sound ignorant but i nees to learn please any help is appreciated!

Chickens can have diarrhea if they drink a lot of water, but the signs of coccidiosis are lethargy, standing around puffed up or hunched, diarrhea or blood in the droppings, and not eating. The treatment is Corid (amprollium) which is found in the cattle medicines of feed stores. Dosage is 2 tsp. of the liquid, or 1.5 tsp. of the powder per gallon of water, and treat all birds at the same time. Here is a good link to read about cocci: http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/2012/12/coccidiosis-what-backyard-chicken.html

So its been about 21 hours since ive had the antibiotics and electrolytes in drinking water i think im seeing a difference in violet already! Dont get me wrong she is still somewhat lathargic and not as active and fun as usual! Shes acknowledging when someone walks into the room and stands up and says hello with a few peeps! But then she will rest some more! I took a pic of her bm which was just 15 mins ago it was pure diarrhea yesterday and its more of a solid today are these signs she is getting better? Could the 21 hours of meds already make that big of a difference?
