Hello, a little over a week ago I adopted a litter of orphaned wild mice, they were about 2 days old. I have only one left, called Agnes, and she’s lived eight days longer than her siblings. Unfortunately I think I overfed her and now she is experiencing bloat. I’ve tried everything I can think of (abdominal massage and stimulation, warm water baths with massage, pedialtye, corn syrup) to get her to have a bowel movement but it’s been almost 24 hours now and she is clearly uncomfortable. I’m very attached to her and don’t want to lose her. Please, any ideas?

Hi there. Dunno what u have been feeding her but usually kitten food works. U can soak the bics or puree wet food. Goat's milk is the best for a liquid feed. Have you tried wiping the anal area with a warm cotfon ball? I know how heartbreaking it is to lose babies as I do Bird Rescue. But sometimes you can do nothing. Extra suggestion, does she have a soft toy or blanky to cuddle up to. Sounds silly but I have given one to all .y orphaned ducklings and they love it. All the best
