@casportpony I have penicillin for IM injection, but that's all I have on hand. Are you thinking it might be bacterial or fungal?

If it is infection, my guess would be bacterial. Not sure the penicillin would be very effective. No human antibiotics?

@casportpony I've got 500mg Amoxicillin capsules, 100mg Doxycycline capsules, and 250mg Cephalexin capsules (only about 5 of these left), and levofloxacin 500mg tablets.

About 7 amox and 40-50 doxy, and I was mistaken the doxy are tablets not capsules

The only drug in that class of antibiotics I have used is enrofloxacin, and when I use it I give 20mg/kg once a day or 10mg/kg twice a day. Cipro, which is also in the same class, is one that's listed in one of my books, and here is that info:


I'm doing chores right now, so I'll come google later, but my best guess is that the dose will be 10-40mg/kg once or twice a day. What's her weight today?
