My little house chicken got into a plant whilst we werent looking, is it poisonous?

If it's a Spider plant, it is non-toxic to chickens.

If thats a Dracaena kiwi then yes it is mildy toxic to chickens and other pets like cats and dogs. As long as the chicken didnt eat a ton of it, its gonna have some minor GI issues like diarrhea and vomiting maybe even with blood but just keep a close eye on the chicken and give lots of water and maybe some probiotics. If it ate alot I would consider talking to a vet about activated charcoal to try and absorb the straponins.

If its a spider plant then its fine hoping thats the case!

Whew thank you!!! He’s only 14 weeks and is a memorial chicken from parents that are old, I feel better now!!
