Please help! Pullet is very sick!

Well he has started sort of gargling, like he has phlegm in his chest but there are no sounds in the lungs. Not sure if its fluid coming up from crop maybe? Crop is pretty empty again, had filled up a bit with the water and eggs I forced him to swallow but at least it's emptying.

But he is standing now without falling flat on his face. So balance is better. And if I poke him over he squawks and can right himself.

I had been weighing him about once a week or so, in roughly 3-4 weeks has gone from 1lb 3oz to 1lb 6oz. Was up to 1lb 8oz a few days ago. If that gives an idea of the slow growth Kevin has. And he is 15 weeks old.
Awe-poor thing, I hope he makes it!

Kevin is actually a girl, a lavender orpington. I thought he was a boy when he was young due to feathering so named him Kevin after the bird in the movie Up. Definitely a girl now though, has nice round feathers growing in. Just so used to saying him and he, it stuck.

He made it through the night though the wheezing has gotten worse. Lungs are clear though so no idea why he is wheezing. It started after he ate some egg, wondering if he swallowed a piece wrong. He is drinking on his own though, and of I say his name he looks up at me. Haven't seen him eat yet though.

Yep. 15 weeks old as of Wednesday. Like I said, a little runty. He got sick around 7 weeks old or so and I figured cocci but didn't treat for it until 10 weeks old. No bloody poops ever but was lethargic, stopped eating etc. Never seemed to really catch up after that. Been treated for cocci twice so thinking bacterial or fungal at this point? He just has never had a strong appetite so been a slow grower ever since.

Nice looking bird! Anyway, that's a very slow growing speed for a full sized bird. Now, I can't compare sizes by just that image, because I don't know what the real size of anything else shown on the image actually is, but are you completely sure that's not a bantam? They generally shouldn't reach over 2lb when fully grown, nor should full size breeds be that small.

Definitely not a bantam. His sisters and brothers were all roughly 4lbs a few weeks ago. He just doesn't eat to much, just enough to get by. Usually scarfs scrambled eggs but even then not as feeding frenzied as all my other chickens. He is just very laid back, almost as if something just isn't quite right.

Haha, well, something isn't quite right. She shouldn't be that small! At this point, you should take her to a vet that handles chickens. No chicken should be that small.
