The easter egger is a hen. I think the silkie is too, but their really hard to tell when their young.

Thank you for your help! Which silkie looks rooish to you, blue or black or both? At what age can you accurately determine there age because I have read that experienced silkie breeders can tell without a doubt by 12 weeks? I have not heard any of them crow but the Easter egger makes a loud squawking noise, a noise like none of the others make like she is being killed if you try to touch her or pick her up and she is the least friendly and definitely top in the pecking order.
