I will give as much info as I can, and will post this also in the nutrition section.
Took in some approximately 11 week old ducks (1 male, and 2 females). Need to know how much brewer's yeast I need to add to their Nutrena 18% chick starter. They are also being fed Mazuri Waterfowl (but I do not know which variety).
I would like to transition them onto the chick starter I have been using with my chicks, however it is a 20%.
I am currently trying to find out how to make the starter a suitable flock feed, since I now have cockerels and should not use the layer feed. I am using Texas Natural Feeds, and they currently do not make a flock feed. Chicks are 9 and 10 weeks old.
I am trying to decide on if I will continue with the Mazuri Waterfowl feed or not. I would prefer to have them on a non-gmo diet totally since I plan on eating their eggs. Also the local feed store said they thought some of the Mazuri feeds were going to be discontinued and I do not have another local source for a waterfowl specific feed.
Thanks
