Ok, make sure the lamp isn't too close & it can't get out or fall out of the box. You may want to consider getting another 2 chicks to keep it company & a bigger box. I just hope the "feed" they gave you is for chicks.

Ok so I have it in a shoe box and inside is a towel. I of course have the lid open and have it under a heat lamp. Ok I'll try giving him food. Thank you so much!!

If this helps, you may want to boil an egg and have the chick eat that. Just mush it so that the chick can eat it

Make sure your heat lamp is not for keeping food warm. No Teflon by birdies!
You have gotten good advice from others. Water is most important in a fragile state but get some chick food. A feed store or farm store will have almost everything you need.

Also being by a warm body, even if it’s yours, will give heat and comfort. It may be more willing to eat sitting with you. (On you)

You got a Walmart close by? Call them see if they have Chick Starter, it's like crumbles.

I agree that you need to get Chick Starter. Whatever feed they gave you, it is not meant for chicks.

Another question: Is your chick being kept outdoors? If so, what are your nightly lows? Is the area where you are keeping it draft and wind free? If there is a strong draft or wind, you will loose the whole purpose of heating the chick as circumvention will chill it.

No at night I bring him inside. Only sometimes I put him outside
