I just treated my young Serama that are a little over a month for worm prevention. Today he is not eating, drinking, having running white poop and not well at all. Yesterday he was jumping around playing with his mates and I'm at a loss. I thought about cocci, but he just went down hill really within hours. I really need help on this one.....thank you

What did you treat him with, and how much did you give him? White urates mostly point to dehydration, so I would try to get him drinking some water, perhaps with some electrolytes. Try to hold water up to his beak often, and dip his beak for a second if necessary to get him to drink. I would not recommend treating birds that young for worms, and especially not bantams. Let us know how he gets along.

Why treat them if they were not worm infested?
Wormer is for animals that have worms and is hard on stomachs.
It is all the natural wormer from backyard chickens. I have never used it before n someone told me it was very good for them. I never give my chickens regular wormer just in case. I'm sorry I guess I should have put that on....my bad! He made it through the night with nutri-drench and I gave him more this morning with some water. I also found my corid that I thought was empty and enough to make a gallon this morning. He took his first sip from it. All now I can do is keep giving him that and try to feed him. I'm so clueless on this, because when he took a drink last night, he acted like he something stuck in his throat and he shakes when I move him. Thank you for your help

Can you post photos of him and his poop?
It's good that you found some Corid.

Explain a little more about him acting like something was stuck in his throat.
The shaking when you move him - would you describe that as vibrating, shivering or could it be like tremors?
What does his crop feel like?

Look inside his beak just to make sure there are no obstructions, plaques, canker, etc.

He has not pooped since last night and his crop feels fine. It looks like it's vibrating tremors. I will check in is throat and let you know. I just don't understand that with in a short period of time this could happen. They are all so healthy and so was he. Thank you for your help

I just gave him another drink of the corid mix and he started drinking better than he did last night

I was treating them with all natural preventative worm med from backyard chicken. I just realize that the chick feed my husband bought was not medicated with corid all ready in it. I always get that kind of chick feed and if it doesn't have it, I treat them on the lower dose of corid until they are ready to go out and then at least 2 weeks after that. I wished I would have known or looked at the bag sooner! Thank you for your help
