Please help sexing these 3

will try and get some new shots of the little rascals, they have found sweet potato peelings and are running made snatching them off each other thinking they r worms...will have to go digging in the garden this weekend to find them the real thing!! Will hopefully get some pics when they are resting and stay still for 5mins :p
 
Well from those pics it is hard to tell (not because they don't want to calm down). THe white one (leghorn?) and the black (Australorp?) look like they just may turn out to be boys...combs are getting big at this age to be girls. THe other which looks to be a Red Star or perhaps an orpington...still looks like a girl. Only sure way to know is when they get old enough to grow pointy saddle feathers which will be around 3-4 mos of age. Then you will have your answer. I have had girls bully each other by chest bumping and I have heard others say they had a crower which turned out to be a hen. Hang in there....time will tell. Sounds like you are enjoying their antics which is the best part of having chickens! Give them some watermelon....they go crazy.
