please help, so sad. coccii!

What kind of vitamins should I give after treatment?
Nutri-drench is good or something similar. You could also give some scrambled egg, loaded in vitamins and minerals. Make sure if feeding anything other chick feed, they have grit. Also do a thorough cleaning of water/feed bowls, brooder. Cocci is a parasitic infection of the intestinal tract, and spread by droppings which get into feed/water via droppings.

Hi. Yes I buy my Sulfadimethoxine from any online poultry supply or TSC (for cattle). I have just cleared up an eye infection that I tried everything else on with this because it has antibiotic qualities. I was giving 2 tsp per gallon per day for 5 days .(as directed by Twincitiespoultry. I mostly use them. It is not the same as sulmet, or any other sulfa-------. It also goes by the name Albon.

With Corid, I have a dose as per Twincitiespoultry as 1 tsp per gallon for 5-7 days to treat ,and 1/2 tsp for maintenance-not part of treatment.

If it was gone, and came back, treatment may have not been long enough or high enough dose, or not really responding to the med and you need to switch. Make sure they are drinking water. And I always mix some medicated water into a little chick feed and make mush for them.

Ok, for the corrid powder in their water. I lost the one that was really sick this morning. :( poor girl.

The most important vitamins after treatment for coccidiosis are Vitamins A and K. PolyVisol has most of the vitamins, and chopped kale is very good for the vitamin K. Yogurt or probiotics also help to get the gut bacteria back to normal.
