PLEASE HELP! tried to help chick, yolk not absorbed

I will see if I can order some vitamins. For now is it ok to give them sugar water? Thank you for all the help. They are two out of 27 eggs that are hatching, and instead of flopping around like the others they just sort of layed there looking dead and getting trampled, so I removed them to the brooder. Fortunately all other (so far 10) chicks are doing well and don't have any problems.

Yes, sugar water won't hurt them. Lots of people recommend sugar water, scrambled eggs, or fresh yolk for chicks. I have used scrambled eggs and I mash them finely with the back of a fork before offering but it's more of something that would be offered after 24 hours when the chicks are more lively. I hope they pull through for you!

I did some research and decided to mix up a little acv, fresh egg yolk, and a teeny bit of molasses. I gave them some through a dropper and they ate it enthusiastically! I will update on how they are doing, so far so good but I'm trying not to keep my hopes up in case something goes wrong. Again, thank you for the help!

It's day 21 for me now and my eggs are hatching, I had three that pipped almost 24 hours ago and started to zip but stopped. I had to help two of them out, and it was definitely the right choice as they had already absorbed everything and would have died, however I don't know if they'll make it because they are pretty weak. But I just tried to help the third and a few blood vessels and the yolk weren't absorbed, I didn't know what to do so I put him back in the incubator but he is getting stepped on. Is there anything I can do or did I kill him? would he have died anyway? I need advice as soon as possible
I think from what I have heard, a 24 hour break is OK. Normally you should let the chick get out on it's own.

I remember reading that a 24 hour break after pipping is okay, but if it's that long after starting to zip and stopping they could need help. I could be wrong, but both of them had started to zip and then stopped and hadn't moved in almost 24 hours. I think I wasn't exactly clear in my original wording. I believe it was the right thing to do, but if it wasn't at least they seem to be doing okay. I've been watching my other eggs and some have taken 12 or more hours to rest after pip but once they start zipping they finish pretty quickly

This spring I had one hatch that had a very hard hatch- bubbles from the beak like yours, when I saw those I assisted since every other chick that has had bubbles has died on me. After the assist, that chick did not get up, or start to fluff out and was also getting trampled.(no majorly swollen abdomen though) I thought for sure it was a goner. So as a last ditch effort I gave it a warm bath and popped it back into the incubator in a paper bowl to help prevent some of the trampling. This also helped it to keep its head up. It took another good 18-24 hours but then it was up walking around with the rest of them and a month later all is well- except that I’m pretty sure it’s a boy. So far all my “saves” have been boys!!:th

I'm glad it worked out! I was so worried when I saw the bubbles, I thought for sure he was dead. I'm hatching mine mostly to sell to friends and community, but obviously I'm emotionally attached to these two now so I have to keep them -- I hope they're not boys! I already have too many roosters I got attached too and ended up keeping lol

I got a better picture of one of the chicks, here's the swollen part. It's a little green and still mushy to the touch. They're both doing well otherwise and after a few baths they're all fluffed up now.
