Please help with gender and breed

Hi,

These 2 are exactly 4 months old.
I think they may both be pullets but hoping you guys can confirm please.
Also would like to know the breed. Thanks!

Both are cockerels. First looks like a mixed breed, second could be a hatchery-quality Ancona.

First bird is a mixed breed cockerel.

Hmm. Now I don't see male saddles on the Ancona. Can you get closer photos of his back? She might actually be a pullet. Its hard to spot male saddles from the photo. TIA.

You can tell by a few things:
Firstly, the combs. Those are too large and red at that age to be pullets. Also the first one has pointy feathers on his wing and a long, curled over tail.

My first instinct was both male, but now I believe the bottom is an ancona pullet. An updated picture would be great to confirm that though.

The top one is definitely a cockerel. Looks like a mix.

I definetly think the one that you guys think is an Ancona is a pullet so i won't be giving it away just yet but as for the other one, if its a cockerel then may give him away
