can someone please help with sexing my wyandottes? They are atleast 15 weeks old.

Another photo of my silver laced wyandottes. sorry could not figure out how to post more than one photo.
any information is greatly appreciated.

The 3 with big combs are roos. Roos have solid white on the wings, pullets will be laced all over no solid patches. I can't really tell from the pics about the other too, but the coloring looks off some. Are they hatchery?

Yup, looks like 3 boys and 2 girls. Pretty birds, big and healthy. Don't ya just love those yellow legs?

2 pullets, 3 cockerels. The ones with the long tail feathers, big wattles, big fat combs are boys. Nice thing is the are dual purpose birds so, now would be a good time to process. Or get 20 more pullets, build more coops. Or rehome them. I bet the crowing is great! I love roosters. Have 3 myself, all good boys. A few months back, I had 9! Was a crowfest all day between mine and the neighbors. Lol

hopefully soon I can figure out how to post multi photos on one post. thanks for your patients. obviously not only am I new to raising chickens but posting as well.

we are extremly in love with them. they are so calm and docile. They are our first attempt at raising back yard chickens. We were hoping to have three hens. We can't have any roos where we live because of the vocal calls too close to neighbors ( very sad ). I did not get them from a hatchery so thats the main reason why we are not certain about the sex of them. Looks like our Dottie is Donnie. Is it possible to have a rose comb hen ? the only reason why I ask is because, it's smaller than the other suspected roos, calmer in personality and the tail feathers are not as long as the other suspected roos as well. If I have 3 roos my 13 year old daughter is going to be so disappointed. Good thing about it is we already set up a home for the roos before we brought them home. Thought that we be best for them because we didn't know the sex when we got them.

thank you, I have found byc to be extremly helpful and informative. I love this site.

The bird in the pic with the puppy is a rooster.

Wyandottes are supposed to have rose combs, the straight combs are the crop-outs that happen sometimes.

In the first pic I'm thinking I see 4 rooster tails. The three obvious roosters we don't need other pics of, but you could post pics of the two less developed birds. The broadside one in the second pic I'm tempted to say pullet but it just doesn't look right, I'm thinking slower maturing cockeral.

Sorry.
