Corid can make her intestines better that quick, but is unlikely to help with her respiratory problem.

Maybe upping the dose of Tylan is doing rhe job or its just finally starting work. Now if only I can get her better and keep her better! Now that I have a scale I can monitor her weight and keep track as we go.

Should I continue to give her the 1.4 ml ever 8-12 hours for 5-7 days in addition to her medicated drinking water?
Treatment should be *all* of the following:

  • 1.4ml Tylan 50 every 12 hours for at least 5 more days. Ask @KsKingBee how long he treated his and do what he suggests. If you're more comfortable giving it to her in her food, fine, but she *must* have *all* of the 1.4ml twice a day.

  • 10ml (two teaspoons) per gallon of Corid in her drinking water. If you're using a quart container, it's 2.5ml (1/2 teaspoon) per quart. Doesn't matter that she doesn't drink much, she must have access to this medicated water throughout the day, and it needs to be her only source of water. Continue this for six more days, then make her water with 2.5ml per gallon, or 0.625ml per quart for another 7 days.

  • If you think she isn't drinking enough, go ahead and mix 0.125ml Corid into her morning and evening mash and continue this for six more days. You could give it orally instead, but I'm guessing that you'd rater not?

She *must* have both Tylan *and* Corid. Tylan is for the respiratory problems, Corid is for the intestinal problems. Make sense? Make fresh Corid water daily.

I'll explain it this way, too...

  • AM - 1.4ml Tylan 50 and 0.125ml Corid - Orally or mixed in AM mash.
  • PM - 1.4ml Tylan 50 and 0.125ml Corid - Orally or mixed in PM mash.
  • 24/7 - Corid at 10ml per gallon.
