Not sure how far back you started reading or if you have been following, but this bird has been sick for six weeks at least, with recurrent, severe respiratory problems as well as (it now turns out), significantly abnormal poo. The bird has been on two different antibiotics (tetracycline and now her second round of Tylan), has been wormed for 5 days with Safeguard, and is just now getting Corid. She was improving, but has taken a difficult turn today with a worsening of the respiratory symptoms which had largely resolved.

It seems likely she may have had a couple different medical issues going on.

Unfortunately, this chick was apparently already ill when the owner bought her, and Shay has been trying desperately to pull this bird through ever since.

With the recurrence of the respiratory symptoms and slowness to respond to the antibiotics, one concern was that if underlying coccidia and/or worms were weakening the bird, it could explain why she is having so much trouble getting over this. And it turns out the poo has been bad all along.

Another possibility under discussion all along has been the possibility that the respiratory distress is from mycoplasmosis and/or CRD. Worming for five days should have gotten rid of gapeworm, which could have been the reason for the gasping, but again, after a couple rounds of better/worse/better, Little Eagle is unfortunately back to worse.

It appeared (as of the last couple days) that the Tylan was working, and the respiratory stuff was improving. At this point, the bird probably needs Baytril, but her owner has not had the resources to be able to get her to a vet, and does not have a local vet in her area.
