Please Help with this lil cutie

. Please help me figure out what kind of chick I have here. I would also like an idea of its sex. We've called it Midnight (s)he was a completely black new born and I now about 6 or 7 weeks old. There is a beautiful purpleish sheen on its back and orange feathers on its throat. Here are some pictures.

Black stars are sex linked. That means at birth they are sex able. You have a pullet.

Awesome, thank you. My kids know I love chickens and got me this one just because. So I had no idea what it may or may not have been lol. (The ring leader was only 8 the pooled their money and walked the 2 blocks to the feed store to get it.)
