Please help.

I found out that it is mycoplasma and have already treated them.

I'm so glad!!!

I looked around on the Internet to see what diseases had the same symptoms as what my girls were experiencing and found out what it was right here on this website!

Welcome! Sorry this is so late.

What's the latest? I pray it's getting better? I had an eye issue with my Barred Rock...she was closing one eye frequently, cloudy spot starting to form. 1-2 days later, it was closed all the way. I took her to a board certified AVIAN Vet in Dallas. I have been to another place in the past that sees birds as well, but knowing this Doc specialized in birds gave me a huge peace of mind. She took a culture and I'm still waiting on results, but she is much better now. Eye fully opened, no cloudy spots. Moral- It's not always something extremely scary or life threatening. But, eye issues need to be taken seriously, especially in birds.

PRESCRIPTIONS:

Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Bacitracin Zinc Ophthalmic Ointment
-small ribbon applied every 12 hrs directly to eye

TMS- Given orally via syringe every 12 hrs

Tobramycin Ophthalmic Solution USP
Apply to left eye twice daily for 5-7 days.
(this was from the first doctor I visited, a week before I went to the avian doc mentioned above)

Just sharing so you can get familiar with some medications. You'll learn a lot in this forum, so add this to your knowledge.
