My daughters rooster has injured himself he is a young rooster and t looked as if he broke his neck, called the vet he said it is not likely a break due to the fact he is still alive was just wondering if anyone has gone thru this

Why do you think his neck is broken? Is he breathing ok? I would put him someplace warm and dark.
Hoping others chime in to help. I am pretty new to chickens so my advice is limited.

Hi, his neck is very floppy and he tries to walk but s only able to flop around he is kinda alert

It sounds to me like it's a neurological problem, I agree it's unlikely he broke his neck. When did this happen? Can you quarantine him from the rest of the chickens? I'd wrap him up in a towel and put him in a cat carrier, or a plastic storage tote. Basically somewhere he's confined and won't just be flopping around. If it's neurological you may need to put him down, but it could be as simple as crook neck, it'll be hard to tell without pictures. Is there any way for you to post pictures?

I did separate him from the girls and had to hand feed him but sadly yesterday we lost him.
