Please help!!

Hi, I just went out to my coop and my RIR Rosie had a fly paper stuck to her!! I have no idea where it came from, I managed to get it off gently but now her feathers all down one side are matted and gummed up together with this horrible stuff!! Any ideas how to get it off appreciated! I tried warm soapy water but to no avail. My poor girl

No do you think hat no do you think that will get it off? It's unbelievably sticky! Was thinking about putting her in the bath and soaking it with some dawn, will try the vinegar also though.

Couldn't hurt to try Vinegar. It's worked for me, but never had to deal with fly paper. The other members I tagged (with the @ in front of the names) have more experience than I do, so hopefully one of them will have ideas, too.

Read up on some previous threads, rubbed olive oil into the sticky feathers then bathed with dawn(twice), blow dried and she's almost as good as new! Phew! Thanks for the help

Oh, good! I had no clue what would work for that gunk, lol...
