@casportpony , what about something that has bacitracin in it? I think that is what most generic "Neosporin" type creams have. Wikipedia says it is "approved by the FDA for use in chickens and turkeys," Thoughts? I assume this could be found over the counter in the UK. But maybe not...

i put a little germolene in the end and it seemed to work really well
