Please help!

In the first pic, he just hadn't absorbed all of his egg yolk before he hatched. Happens sometimes. It's good you didn't mess with him/it and let him absorb it.

It does appear to have splayed legs. I agree with what was said above about electrolytes. If you don't have any, but have gatorade, pedialyte or poweraid on hand, a tiny bit of that would work, too. Stick it's little beak in it just a tiny bit so it knows its there. Babes that don't absorb their yolk the way they should tend to be weaker at first, anyway.

Good luck!

Sweet as a picnic in air condition!!! Now that she is hand cuffed, you need to make sure she is hydrated. Vitamin B is important but a multivitamin/electrolyte solution works. At first she will sit, then stand. Then walk, then me be happy. Put her on a surface that is not slick. That will prolong the process.
You are a good chick parent. Babysit and post more pics!
You made my grinch heart grow 3 times it's normal size!
Good for you!

He's walking! When should I take it off?
Awesome! I would leave it on for at least 3 solid days.
Then monitor the chick closely after removal. I like the non slippery surface! It needs traction for stability. Impressive. They grow so fast right?!
I am tickled pink right now.
Good for you!
Keep up the vitamins and electrolytes!
You are a great chick mother!
