I am new to raising baby chicks...I brought this baby home last thursday...she has been chirping really loud and all she wants is to be held...when I pick her up she goes right to sleep.

Don't worry about the loud chirping! It's just your baby talking! She may be saying she's too hot or cold, or she's hungry or thirsty. If not, she's just asking for attention! :D

Hello there! :frow And :welcome I have raised 3 batches of chicks and have had a chick like this in every batch. Does she have any siblings? Is she eating and drinking?
If she isn't too hot or too cold, I'm sure she just wants to be held by her "mamma hen" :love

She's very sweet!
Chickens being social flock animals, maybe she just needs company. If you could get a couple more day-olds I think she will be happier but she will still be bonded to you!
