Please help!

My friends chicken has started panting with a bit foam in the mouth, she’s not wanting to drink water and hasn’t moved much, her comb seems to be turning purple as well, no reaction to treats either. Any help of what this could be and what can be done is greatly appreciated!

Have you opened it’s mouth and looked to see if something might be blocking it’s airway?

One of my chick died from snake bite which cause foam in mouth, comb turn to purple exactly as your description. Could be poison, check in throat. Otherwise, not much help you could do.

My guess is it was heat exhaustion? She’s started drinking now and the purple is fading
