First of all please excuse my ignorance and my long story

I had a broody hen sitting on eggs - so i took her and the eggs out of my coop into a liitle coop

I have no experience at all this is my first time owning chickens ive had them about a 18 months

A few days ago she decided to stop sitting on the eggs - i felt sorry for her ( i know !!! ) so i bought 3 chicks and put them in with her and she took to them right away - but still never went back on the eggs

So i then candled the eggs and all of them appeared to be at different stages - so i took them and put them in a box with a heat lamp

Almost immediately one of them cracked open and 12 hours later another one did too

But since then nothing until an hour ago when a piece of the shell broke off

The membrane was white / clear but now its dark but still in tact

The other one has a few more cracks since theee days ago

Please dont scold me i just want advice on how to help the chicks

You need to find out what the temperature is under the heat lamp, they need a lot of humidity to hatch. Out in the open they can't get enough humidity to hatch out.
The eggs might have started to hatch but then dried out, sticking them to the shell.

Sorry i thought i had here they are

You will need to cover part of the top with something. Put warm water in a few dishes with sponges or dish rags in the water, since its open like that you will need quite a few of them.
