please help!

a coyote killed a nesting mallard and all of her eggs who were about to hatch, now i’m worried about my own birds and cat. how can i trap him? should i relocate him or will he come back? i do not want to have him killed but if my birds are in danger i will have my dad do it

Call your local game and fish office. Tell them the problem and ask if they can bring out a live trap and set it up for you. You will monitor it and call them when the coyote is trapped.

In my area DEC wouldn't bring a trap or do anything about it unless the yote was sick. Yotes, and fox are feeding there young ones, there much more active this time of yr. I'd personally shoot the yote, but if there's one, there's more.
