Please Help!

I really wish I could....the problem is I live in rural Wyoming and the closest vet that’ll care for poultry is a hundred miles away. I tried hand feeding but now she hasn’t moved for about an hour and isn’t really reacting to anything. She’s still breathing but I don’t think she’ll make it. Thank you guys though!

Then it might be kinder to put her out of her misery then sadly. I've had to do that with a few of this years chickens already. Not fun but sometimes it's just more humane.

Sadly she just passed away. Thank you for your advice, and I hope I find out what happened so my other chickens don’t get sick. It may have been old age though, or the cold from the sudden snowstorm we just had.

I am sorry to read about your hen. Since your not sure what caused her death, and you may be concerned for the remaining flock, you can do one of two things to find out what happened to her.
1. You can perform the Necropsy yourself by downloading the "how to" or watch a video from the University of Connecticut

2. Send her remains to Wyoming State Diagnostic Laboratory at your State Veterinary Laboratory. The number is: 1-800-442-8331. They will be able to tell you specifics on the fee and how to send the body.
