I posted this in another forum on here but I thought maybe you guys could help too on this forum I have a silky chicken who is just started laying eggs so pretty young she's gone broody and I can't seem to break her broodiness and it's getting cold now here I really don't want her sitting on the nest I'd rather her be up and eating so she doesn't get cold and sick and other problems If I was to put a hatching chick underneath her would that break the broodiness if she had a baby hatch under her
