Please help

Hello this is my first time experiencing this kind of thing in my rooster as he is one of two who does not get sick often...
So few days ago i noticed that there was some yellow stuff on my rooster's ear i didn't what was that and cleaned it with a warm wet cloth and applied some betadine hoping it will be fine but the next day i saw there was more puss on the covering (small fur part) of his ear.
Please let me know if you know anything about it.

Doesn't matter if only on one side, I would follow the directions in Post#3
