I have a baby chicken that got into the coop with a mother hen and her babies and he couldn’t get out, mom picked him pretty bad. He’s lethargic and won’t eat or drink but crop is full. He’s in my room right now but i don’t want to set a heat lamp up since it’s 110 degrees outside and inside is about 80-85. He barely opens his eyes and he chirps when i pick him up. He won’t move around much either. I cleaned the wounds and put triple antibiotics on there. is there anything else i can do? I’m going to head to tractor supply to but electrolytes

How long has his crop been full?

It may be blocked, possibly caused by shock.

Poultry Nutri drench is available at TSC..as it's formulated for rapid absorption, doesn't require digestion.. and sometimes works miracles with it's amino acids. Administered just below the nostrils the chick will gobble and swallow as it roll around into his mouth.
