Oh and the brown stuff is just soldier larva for them as a treat, not poo. We make sure it stays VERY clean.

1) is this her first brood
- I have had mares with first foals act like this, stress at trying to keep the final close. Imagine this poor hen with 11 to control!

2) can you put them in a very small enclosed area outside
- if they were all in a small enclosed area outside, like your shower is, she may feel more safe.
