Ok Ty for adviceI think she is trying to get the chicks back into the house? How old are the chicks. If they are over 3 weeks, she may let them go early.
What I would do, is in the dark, put her and the chicks in a dark coop. Where they wake up with the option to go outside. If you are really worried about it, only put a couple of chicks with her that night. And get down there early to see how it goes.
This is one of the reasons I never separate birds, it causes more problems down the line.
Mrs K
She can’t, they are upstairs in our house.I agree with Mrs. K - it may go easier if she is the one leading them outside.
Right, which is why it would be good to put them in a coop where she has the option of taking them out herself. She can’t, they are upstairs in our house.
Are they kept in a crate or.....?She can’t, they are upstairs in our house.
Ok, good point we will try that Ty.Right, which is why it would be good to put them in a coop where she has the option of taking them out herself.
