Did you mean July 25th? I find it hard to believe these ducklings are almost 7 weeks old… They look closer to 2 weeks.

One looks like a Black Swedish, the other looks like a Rouen.

Are you only feeding cracked corn?? That is very poor nutrition, more than likely why your ducky is struggling. They should be eating a duck, waterfowl, or all-flock feed with good protein and niacin content.

Hello and welcome to Backyard Chickens :frow we are glad to have you here!

Your ducklings look severely undersized to have been hatched in June. They should be fully feathered or almost fully feathered by now.
Have they been fed an all flock starter grain or duckling starter at all? I'm assuming the problems are from not getting enough nutrients from the cracked corn. It could also be a lack of niacin in their diet and likely a lack of a lot of other crucial vitamins.

I'd get them on some all flock or waterfowl specific starter grain asap. And I'd also add some poultry vitamin and electrolyte powder to their water.

Hopefully some others will chime in with some more helpful information!

Yes I am, I’ll get one of the things you just said the black duck is a lot smaller than the one behind it I feel really bad for it I did get them from a family farm and home store so I didn’t hatch them myself

This is them right now the brown one looks a lot bigger when he’s standing straight up showing his neck more I’m scared for my duck this is my first time owning ducks I’ve been doing research looking for the right stuff to feed my ducks I was thinking the cracked corn was giving them all the nutrients they needed but now hearing this I will be getting them the stuff they need

Ducklings can grow at different rates. But they definitely need to be eating a 20% protein all flock or waterfowl starter grain. Hopefully with the correct feed your ducklings will start grow and thrive! Ducklings grow incredible fast that's why they need a high protein feed with extra niacin to support their bone growth!

They are extremely cute! You've done the right thing by asking for help. Hopefully your little ones will start thriving with the correct feed! How warm is it where they are kept? Without their adult feathers they may need and additional heat source to stay warm.
